Fun place to fly into, but not a lot to see besides the homes and nearby golf course since there is no FBO. Be careful not to try to land after hours (see the A/FD) or you may get a hefty fine.

Here's the deal. It's a great airstrip because of the location near great golf courses, a beautiful resort at Lakeway and just the coolness of flying into such a nice area. There is a very large rise in the runway's center meaning you're landing uphill on runway 34 and taking off downhill on 16. Still, there plenty of length that King Airs and small jets come and go as well as more modest planes. The runway was fairly recentlly paved and is in very good shape. No taxiways but nice tie-down area. Numerous hanger-homes border the strip.
