Delivery times are often after 6pm. I am home and yet they don't bother to come to the door for a signature, just leave a note in the box. I request re-delivery, it doesn't happen. Last two days I didn't get any mail at all when I have 3 tracking numbers they show as delivered both days! I have a locking mail box so it is not being stolen... at least not by anyone not working for the post office.
I have only found two (there may be more) post offices with a lower rating than Lakeway. Forest Park, Illinois (Chicago) has 1.2 stars, and Brooklyn’s Williamsburg station at 263 S 4th Street has 1.3 stars. EVERYONE THAT WORKS HERE SHOULD BE REPLACED.
I wish I could give this place a ZERO rating.Tracked package yesterday that was supposedly "delivered" to my mailbox. NOT! Called and spoke with "Danny" (supervisor) and he said he'd follow-up...NOT! They DO NOT answer their phones, let it ring, then pick up and put down phone (could hear them talking in background). Tried calling 1-800 USPS 3 times yesterday...say there is a 30-40 minute wait time...NOT! I'd still be waiting if I had not hung up after 50 minutes! They DO NOT answer, either! Just put you on continual hold! This Post Office needs to be shut down, along with USPS! Most inept company and people I have ever experienced! Still NO package!
There is one carrier there worth anything, Bridget. I have had nothing but bad experience with other carriers and even worse experience with the station staff. This entire location should be shut down.
I was here today, out of absolute necessity only, otherwise I'm happy to pay double or triple elsewhere just to avoid this facility. The staff do not even pretend to care about your issue, will not even attempt a smile, and take zero pride in their work. It is the most miserable environment. Be prepared to be treated with indifference, and to wait in a long line if you come here!
